Helps by providing low-and-middle-income housing in the Great Bend Community.

Family Crisis Center*

Helps provide shelter and counseling for those caught in the web of domestic violence.

*These services initiated by CSS now operate with community direction while remaining under CSS corporate umbrella and supervision. Other CSS initiatives that have fully become autonomous community efforts include: Great Bend Children’s Learning Center, Barton County Youth Care, Emmaus House “Ourselves and Our Families”, Concerned Citizens for the Aging. Other CSS initiatives throughout Southwest Kansas have included GED programs, Senior Citizen programs and centers, Meals on Wheels, Living Memorial Funds, nutrition and homemakers programs, and respite care programs.
