Hattie Stein, CADCII, CSAT, presently acts as Addictions Counselor for CSS’s Rural Family and Behavioral Services program, offering individual and group therapy to those with addictions in Southwest Kansas. She currently offers her services at all three of Catholic Social Service’s locations in Dodge City, Garden City, and Great Bend. As a National Certified Addictions Counselor, Hattie is trained in the areas of drug & alcohol addiction, sexual addiction, and is a Certified Relapse Prevention Specialist. She has been working in the professional field of addictions since 1985. During this time, she has co-authored three outpatient programs, authored two outpatient programs, and developed ACA groups, relapse prevention groups, co-dependency groups, and parents of addicted children groups. A lifelong resident of Dodge City, Hattie also attended Dodge City Community College and went through the nursing program at St. Mary of the Plains College. She has been married for 45 years and is the mother of six children.
